The errors associated with each board are as follows: However now when I try to program the chip, I get different errors, depending on if I try to program it with board “No bootloader” or Optiboot.įor what it’s worth, here are my settings in the Arduino IDE:

Okay done, no problem, burned successfully. Since it was a chip fresh from China, I burned the bootloader as the GitHub page said. The ATTin圜ore page on GitHub has been helpful, however only to a certain extent. However the programming aspect has me stumped (again, I’m a total noob). That driver solution you linked worked and device manager recognizes it now. I received the USBasp today and wired it up. Okay, thanks for your patience (I hope you actually were patient, haha).

USBasp driver for Windows 10 - Working solution Yes, a USBasp can be used in place of an Uno. Make sure that, when you try again, you check Options Advanced Mode in Zadig, so that you will get a log that you can copy/paste if it doesnt work.
Thanks in advance!ĮDIT: I don't have an Uno or capacitor on hand so I can't program using that method at the moment. Please try to delete your C:Users#Zadig driver installation failed resource already exists install#

Digistump driver package: all four drivers show as "Ready to use" immediately after running installer, board still not recognized.I recently picked up ATtiny85 and development board clones ( photo of board) off AliExpress and am completely unable to get my computer (Windows 10 圆4, v2004) to recognize the dev board.įirst off, when I plugged it into my PC via micro USB (powered USB 2.0 hub and desktop USB 3.0 port), a red LED turns on (no blinking) and device manager shows it as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)." Here are the driver packages that I've tried installing and the results of each, however nothing has worked so far: I'm a complete ATtiny noob so bear with me here.
